The Greensburg Holiday Scavenger Hunt is a collaborative effort between the GCDC, GBPA, and Downtown Greensburg Project to support downtown Greensburg small businesses during the American Express’ Small Business Saturday.
Happening this year on Saturday, November 28!
Downtown Greensburg businesses register through the form linked below. The fee for a participating business in the Holiday Scavenger Hunt is $10. The Prize awarded to the lucky shopper will be a “Go Greensburg” Community Gift Card for the total amount collected from participating businesses. Shoppers travel throughout Greensburg to participating small businesses listed on the Scavenger Hunt Card and record their answers to holiday clues. Each business will receive a secret word for shoppers to record on their card along with the business name. Additional clues on the card will identify Greensburg landmarks for extra points! Shoppers will turn in their completed cards at designated locations for entry into the prize drawing held on Luminary Night, December 3.
For shoppers! You can pick up a Holiday Scavenger Hunt Card at our check-in table on South Pennsylvania Ave. Extra cards will be available at participating businesses. One Scavenger Hunt Card entry per person; No purchase necessary
To play: Each correct answer = 1 point. Complete the answer key based on the holiday clue identifying Greensburg businesses or landmarks.
Visit participating Businesses, who will “reveal” their Secret Word for additional points!
Completed Cards can be turned in at the Small Business Saturday check-in desk (before 3pm) or at either drop box location no later than December 1; Hempfield-Greensburg Library, GCDC Office (101 N. Main Street, Suite 105).
