The City of Greensburg received grant funding through the WalkWorks Program to develop an Active Transportation Plan during 2024 to 2025.
WalkWorks is a collaboration between the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and the PA Department of Health. The funding was provided by the State Physical Activity and Nutrition Grant and the Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A public meeting was held Tuesday March 19, 2024 at Greensburg City Hall on South Main Street. One meeting was held from 2-3 p.m. and the other from 6-7 p.m. There was also a survey performed, a link is included below.

Paper copies of the survey are available at the Greensburg / Hempfield Library on South Pennsylvania Ave., and at Greensburg City Hall.
