GCDC Mission Statement
The purpose of the Greensburg Community Development Corporation (GCDC) is to assist the City of Greensburg, businesses, institutions, and organizations in the development and implementation of plans and programs encompassing total community development, beginning in the core area and focused within the geographical boundaries of the City.
Alec was hired in August 2023 to take over for interim Executive Director John Stafford. He is a Greensburg resident, sits on the Greensburg Planning Commission, and is truly committed to heling to bring new developments to Greensburg. He is a business owner, and has previous economic development experience working for the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Cop., The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Westmoreland, and Westmoreland Community Action. He has worked in other communities such as Jeannette, Monessen, and New Kensington; and is excited to bring what he has learned working in other parts of the county to Greensburg.
